A project jointly funded through Ella Boyen, Moonlit Sanctuary (sponsor)
and the Australian Government's National Landcare Program
Moonlit Sanctuary is a fantastic wildlife conservation park in our local woodlands area.
Heavily involved in species recovery programs, Moonlit Sanctuary sees the value in preserving and enhancing wildlife habitat.
So Moonlit Sanctuary has dug deep into its pockets to contribute to this valuable project.

Langwarrin is rich in habitats and biodiversity. From swamplands to riparian zone, open woodland to heathy woodland, Langwarrin has it all.
We have an amazing cornucopia of species. Despite being surrounded by suburbia, Langwarrin still boasts echidnas, swamp wallabies, eastern grey kangaroos, sugar gliders, koalas and a vast range of other mammals, lizards and snakes, birds, fish and amphibians.
Purpose of this site
The Langwarrin Woodlands site has been developed as a community information sharing hub for residents of the greater Langwarrin area, spanning from the South Eastern part of Melbourne to the Mornington Peninsula. The purpose of the site is to share knowledge for local conservation for the benefit of the local biotic and abiotic environment of the area into the future, and to share the wonderful local culture and knowledge of this land.
Please explore the menu items for areas of interest. These will grow over the duration of the project. You can submit photos for ID, participate in surveys, RSVP to a range of free and low cost events and get chatting in the forum.
Of course, I welcome your feedback to help me continually improve this site for the greater good.
